More about me…

My Approach

It’s important to me that children have a positive experience of therapy with me. If they need short sessions, movement breaks, to play a game or draw a picture, my work is guided by what your child needs in the moment.

I will work closely with you as their parent to explore all pieces of the puzzle of what is going on for your child. It can also be helpful to involve their teachers at school to achieve this. The first step of successful therapy is understanding what is going on for your child, from there we can address it.

As well as supporting your child, it is important to me that I also support you. I strive to provide you with an understanding of yourself and provide you with the tools to feel empowered and confident in supporting your child.

My Background

I am originally from Bristol and moved to Maidenhead, Berkshire in April 2026.

As a teenager, I struggled with anxiety. I was strongly perfectionist and had very high expectations of myself. I kept my anxiety to myself and masked it. It is only in reflection as an adult that I am really able to understand what was going on for me during this time.

My experiences with anxiety led me to become passionate about supporting young people with mental health difficulties. If I am able to provide a young person which a space which feels safe enough to unmask, even just for a moment, then I consider this an immense privilege.

I now have two young daughters and I work hard to provide them with the language to talk about their emotions with me. Becoming a parent has been one of the hardest things I have ever done and most days I navigate my way through parental guilt and trying to stay emotional regulated. I feel passionate about supporting parents to reach a point of parenthood which feels joyful and connecting, rather than just feeling they are surviving each day.
